Home Improvement with sociable spaces

In 2020, many interior designers think that sociable spaces will be the ‘must-have’ home improvement this year. By furnishing your conservatory with a couple of sofas, you’ll have a room to entertain guests all year round.
Make sure you measure the furniture and your conservatory before buying anything! You don’t want to buy two sofas and find out they’re too big for your conservatory. If you’re having a TV as well, make sure everyone has a good view.

Charismatic colours

Grey was the go-to colour in 2019, and it’s still a popular choice for 2020. Try and match the accents on your furniture with your paint colours. If you’re concerned about your room being too dark, lighter paint colours can help make the room brighter.
For maximum natural light, a glass roof orangery or conservatory will let in loads of natural light. However, if you’re opting for a solid roof, a Velux roof window will also provide light and airflow to the room.
